Millennial Economics - Introduction

The older I get the more I realize the important role money can have in our life. It can provide us freedom, entertainment, security, and a legacy to leave behind for our children. The challenge is, we often make navigating the world of finance and good money habits more difficult than it needs to be.

Do you need to be a doctor to become wealthy? Do you have to be a “sophisticated investor” to unlock the mysteries of money? Do you have to be a minimalist and never buy anything that isn't a “need” to win the game?

All of these questions I have asked myself, and through years of research, navigating my own failures, and getting a taste of what it’s like to win with money I’ve learned many lessons and gained a lot of knowledge that I would like to share with you.

Money doesn't have to be a mystery. It can be simple, fun, and incredibly fulfilling. Something that not only benefits you but also the people around you — your children, parents, family, and friends. Money is a tool. A tool to help you achieve your goals, whatever those goals may be.

Millennial Economics will be a guide of sorts for you. The information here will help you navigate the world of money and good money habits so you too can become successful with things like budgeting, investing, managing your emotions, and much more.

I have learned a lot on my money journey, but I have by no means figured it all out. There are many things I am still ignorant to. There are many mistakes I will still make in the future. Let's face it, making the right financial decision all the time is basically impossible.

What I can promise is that I will share what I’ve learned in an honest and transparent way. There will be no fluff here. No get rich quick scheme. No “How to make $1,000,000 with no money down”. We will walk this journey together — sharpening our knowledge and skills so we can achieve our financial goals.

Millennial Economics is dedicated to helping young people be successful with money.

I look forward to spending some time with you.
